Changes are coming for your industry association and the first of those changes is the rebrand to our new name: the Australian Surf Industry Association (ASI) and our new logo.
“We’ve been working on a number of changes and new events over the past year, the first step being taken at yesterday’s ‘Special General Meeting’ where the new name and rebrand was voted on and unanimously passed” explains Executive Officer Lyndall Browning.
“The new name is more reflective of who we are and what we do, it’s the first of our new initiatives and events for our association – it’s exciting times ahead!” adds President Anthony ‘Macka’ Wilson.

- Celebrate and create opportunity for Australia’s best Surf & Boardsports brands, products and retailers through our annual Surf Industry Awards.
- Strengthen the links between participants, athletes, governing bodies, brands and retailers.
MISSION
The objects for which the association is established are:
- To provide platforms for the discussion of industry opportunities and issues and in turn the development and implementation of strategies and policies.
- To monitor, identify and analyse issues affecting, to likely to affect, the industry and to develop solutions and provide information to its members, government and the public where desirable for the promotion of the associations objectives.
