REMINDER: SBIA ROUNDTABLE, MAY 26

Just another reminder about the next Surf Industry Roundtable to be held Coogee Bay Hotel on Thursday, May 26, prior to that night’s surf industry awards.

As you’ll see when you check out below agenda, it’ll be another interesting roundtable with each session sure to generate plenty of discussion. For those retailers who haven’t attended a board meeting, but are going to the SBIA awards night it’s a good opportunity to meet with your industry peers first hand.

11:00 – 12:30pm – SBIA Update

  • Digital catalogue implementation – Discussion and follow up from previous roundtable. The focus will be on the reasons the industry is moving toward the digital catalogue.
  • Connecting the sport and the industry – Discussion and follow up from previous roundtable including presentation from Indiana Green from Surfarama about integrating the industry with the sport.
  • Customer Survey – Analyse and compare the key trends and changes from the 2014 customer survey.

1:00 – 1:30pm – Lunch

1:30 – 2:15pm –Velpic Online Training

John Blake from Sales Breakthrough Solutions to introduce the Velpic Online Training platform available to SBIA retail members.

2:15 – 3:30pm – Retail KPI’s.

Strengthening the relationship between reps and retailers. Clint Fraser to facilitate the two sessions

Part 1. Retail Performance Management – Keynote presentation from Clint Fraser 45min
, including the performance management metrics that Clint works through with his clients.

Part 2. Product Performance Management – panel discussion Mike Di Sciascio, Anthony Wilson and others 
Clint facilitates for Mike and I go through the metrics that we work with for account managers and discuss what “good” looks like.

3:30pm – Afternoon Tea
