Dragon Alliance have recently announced the appointment of its new South Pacific Surf Team Manager, and who better to lead up the role than South-West coast Victorian and local charger Tully Wylie.
“I’m thrilled to announce the appointment of Tully to a position that we at Dragon consider of the utmost importance. At Dragon, if our athletes are succeeding – we succeed. Therefore, it felt only right to give the role to somebody who’s down in the weeds, lives and breathes surfing,” – said Dragon’s Head of Brand / Sales Matt Hall.
“Tully brings such a grounded understanding of what the modern-day surf athlete needs as he, himself, continues to chase that dream and establish himself competitively while blowing up free surfs nationally – all the way from Bells Beach to Australia’s East Coast.
As a team, we’re delighted to begin this next chapter for Dragon. It provides us with a paramount opportunity to focus on building our brand, providing our athletes with the attention they deserve while supporting them in achieving their respective goals. We’re excited to welcome Tully to the family, and we’re looking forward to catching up with the team for a much-deserved beer over the summer break.
Over the next few weeks, Tully will be reaching out to connect and get an understanding of each of our athlete’s upcoming plans, current goals, and how we at Dragon can help support our surfers in achieving them, and if one thing’s for sure – it’s gonna be one hell of a ride.”
