On Wednesday evening the 3rd of April, over 90 people from the Surf and Boardsports industry gathered on the Quiksilver Deck at Snapper Rocks for the 2019 SBIA Sunset Session in aid of Surfrider Foundation.

The rain certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of our guests who came in droves to enjoy a beer & a burrito and get down to the task at hand of raising money for Surfrider Foundation.

Our charity auction raised $5,000 for Surfrider thanks to Volcom’s Shane Azar and Matt Bemroses’ hilarious anecdotes and sharp quips which nudged up the bids for items up for grabs.  In true industry spirit, everyone got involved and we’re proud to say we achieved a great result.

We would like to thank all the Brands, Athletes and Artists who donated items for the auction, Quiksilver and WSL for the use of the Deck, SC Panell for their wines, Shane Azar and Matt Bemrose for the side splitting entertainment and Beach Burrito for keeping us feed!
