The 2019 SBIA Awards are open for nomination and we encourage every SBIA Retail and Brand Member to get amongst the action for a chance to take out the best-in-class performer in your chosen category.
The nomination process is easy; we’ve broken it down in two parts.
Part 1: For Brand Members who wish to nominate a stand out independent retailer or a deserving account manager or agent that goes above and beyond.
Part 2: For Brand and Retail Members to nominate for an award. Retailers…remember you can self-nominate for Australian Retailer of the year, Excellence in Retail Marketing, Environment and Shop Fit of the Year. Brands, you will need to self-nominate for all awards.
Part 1: Here’s the drill…
Step 1: Refer to the Nomination Kit for the award categories, click here to access the Retailers Nomination Kit and here to access the Brand Members Nomination Kit.
Step 2: Brands…if you wish to nominate a deserving retailer, it only takes a minute to email the Awards Team at admin@sbia.com.au To nominate the retailer, their store name and location is all we need.
If you’re nominating a hardworking Account Manager or your entire sales office, download this form, fill it out and email it back to admin@sbia.com.au You can kill two birds with one stone here and nominate all your account managers/agents from all states in one go.
Step 3: Your job is done! The Account Manager’s or sales office name goes into the voting pool automatically. The nominated retailer is emailed to accept or decline their nomination to move the next stage of producing a written awards submission.
Step 5: Finalists are announced on the 5thof September, 2019
Step 6: Share a celebratory drink at the awards night on the 24thof October, 2019.
Part 2: Here’s what you need to do…
Step 1: Refer to the Nomination Kit for the award categories, click here to access the Retailers Nomination Kit and here to access the Brand Members Nomination Kit.
Step 2: Select the categories you wish to nominate for, email Lyndall admin@sbia.com.au to indicate which awards you’re nominating for and she will set you up a dropbox.
Step 3: Click here to access nomination forms, download forms and submit your completed nomination form and/or PDF submission.
Step 4: Your job is done. For voted categories, the nomination automatically goes into the voting pool. For judged categories, the submission is presented to the judging panel for assessment.
Step 5: Finalists are announced on the 5thof September, 2019
Step 6: Share a celebratory drink at the awards night on the 24thof October, 2019.
